It is definitely the solenoid, so I’ll try to get the one off of jon-ovlov before trying fiddling with it. Thanks for the advice though, it's been a good car to me so I’d like to keep it as long as possible.

Thank what i'm thinking of doing is getting two 13" then two 14" or 15" of the same wheel design, to give my car that hot rod look. Dose any one know if this would cause any problems or if it is illegal.

I know its not the window wiper because the boot lid only leaks after it's bean raining, but the rear lights always fill up with water too.

dose any one know how to stop the boot lid from letting water in. I think it's the spoiler but im not sure how stop this problem. please could some one tell me how to sort out this problem.

if you left the choke on wail driving what would it do to the car?

my 340 is volvo white 199 i got some from halfords but i was thinking of getting the car resprayed. because of the sratchs and scuffs, so dose any one know how much it would cost if i put it in a garage to be resprayed.

how much paint would i need to repaint a 340 or how do i sort the scuffs and scrapes

does any one know what kind of performance brakes, i could put on my 1988 340 1.4 to make it brake sharper.

on my 340 the out side rear wheel archs have rust holes. i would like to know where the most common rust areas are and, what i could do about the rust on the wheel archs.
