I haven't had time for the Volvo lately so it's been sat under a cover for the last 12 months. I put it back on the road with a new turbo but cracked a piston again putting too much boost through the engine. I'm breaking the following parts:

I took it off the road a year ago as the turbo started to get smokey, it currently doesn't have any tax or MOT. I've been planning on putting in an injected Gordini engine but just haven't found the time.

It's stupid things like the bearing casting and clutch shaft that bolts to the back of the bell housing, which from your conversion guide differs from the 1.4. I explicitly asked him for this before he shipped the parts. He also didn't ship the front mount that bolts to the sump, saying it's not his ...

I was going to do an F7P conversion on my 1.4, I then got fleeced by a dishonest crook (mark-n-claire) on ebay for the necessary 1.7 parts. He supplied me with some but not all the parts I asked for, then was trying to sell me the missing parts. So I've lost the drive to continue.

Spax SSX lowering springs (40mm), brand new, one spring briefly had a compressor on, so a few minor marks (I did protect the spring with tape) £50, £10 delivery.

The ride is okay until the car hits big undulation at high speed, then you can feel it bottom out. I need heavier oil in the dampers, currently 30W and possibly cut the bump stops down a little.

Superb, would you be willing to post it for say £25? Chucked most of my old broke engine out about a month ago, which is sods law. Thinking about Mega-squirting it so need a manifold to modify. Briefly thought about an F7P turbo, even brought an exhaust manifold, but from looking at Chris_C bell ...
