Gearbox: yes, it is ATF:) You can use Mobil 210( if you can find it, NLA), or any ATF type F or G, if I remember it correctly. Also there is original volvo oil: 1161647 or 1161547
Final drive: any hypoid oil GL-5 category, viscosity 75w-90 or 80w-90

All parts available. Has electric windows, central locking, electric mirrors, Sunroof ( cable snapped but panel has no rust), PAS. oh wait i misread; the 343 and 345 was available in DLS and GLS, the S addition to the DL and GL versions ment there was a 2.0 under the bonnet.. this was available from MY1980 till MY1982 after that for the MY1983 you were able to order a 340 spec car with a 2.0 engine; see this as a "winner" or L...

340's come in 1.4 or 1.7 and are renault engines. a lot of people put engines from clios, megane etc in as they are quite a simple conversion.

You are wrong. There were 340 (343 in fact) with 2 litre engine

Fitting to the back is not a case for me..
I have some crazy idea about tuning, but don't know when I will do it..
So if it is possible to place gearbox in the front, then it is ok

Did anybody fit auto gearbox from other models?
I think that gearbox from any redblock could be fitted to B19A?
May be I'm a bit crazy:)

I'm using Pierburg 7.21440.51.0 for several years, no problems at all. It is located under the bonnet, but going to move it to under rear seat. There is no back line, no pressure regulator, nothing except filter before carb

Is it still actual?
I'm interested in it
