I can't see it being mixture, because its out of the idle circuit range (only place the 'mixture' screw applies). I'm not trying to be smart here, but from experience the mixture screw affects the whole range, not just the idle. I was playing with it once and I set it way too rich. The engine was r...

Looking back on this thread....I have also had this problem recently. The car starts fine, then dies, and there's nothing you can do to stop it. It's a pig to start again...probably taking 3-4 seconds of cranking to fire (but fires under 'cold start' choke conditions...so its not flooding). I've al...

Bad/worn door seal, esp. the bottom part. I have that problem at the front. Or a hole in the floor.

I heard that turning circle depends on what tyres/wheels were fitted from the factory. Early 340s had 155 tyres and very tight turning circle (a friend told me that it was very funny when it looked like the wheels were turned almost 90 degrees on a 344 :D ), almost all 360s had 175 tyres and GLTs ha...

5lab and foggyjames already explained it, but if you want to know the exact version, find your VIN (XLB34...) and check this topic. Alternatively, there should be a sticker at the top of the underside of the bonnet with the engine code.

If that means rustproofing, the manual says every 2 years. I'm sure if that would have been done every 2 years, these cars (well, any car) could last forever (from the rust point of view). Anyway, my plan is to: get all the rust problems treated, apply rust protection, then inspect thoroughly every ...

First check if you accidentally blown a fuse or anything else obvious. Most likely the problem is at the two connectors (multi-plugs) that connect to the back of the dash. You can try taking the covers under the steering wheel off and wiggle them a little (there's very little working space, so be sl...

Chances are the sealant between window rubber and the car body is cracked and gone. I had that problem at both the rear window and windscreen.

Buy some window sealant at the car parts shop. (I used Dinitrol Window Sealant). It must be permanently-flexible. Clean the old sealant out first.

Unfortunately it's not coming from my legendary GLT as you said, the resistor wasn't working anymore on it. (Ohhh dear Pornomobiel, I miss you! lol Like 5lab will miss NESSY  ) Thank you ve...
