If you can pm me a picture, I'll label it up for you if you like. It'll make life considerably easier, and is certainly an upgrade from an in tank setup.T.J. wrote:Yes, still there.. just no idea which connection is which

Re: Saved from the scrapyard, an old friend returns......
I'm guessing the swirlpot is no longer with the car? It made sense to run one for me. The lines to and from the tank would still remain low pressure and therefore could be reused - there was no reason to go anywhere near the tank at all, it would eliminate any chance of fuel surge, and also keeps th...

Re: Saved from the scrapyard, an old friend returns......
TJ if you ever sell this LET ME KNOW FIRST! Was the worst decision EVER to sell Trundle and I've wanted to buy it back since I sold it. I just keep missing out :( With regards to the fuel pump - The facet pump was only the lifter pump to fill the swirl pot. There was an in-line EFI pump after the sw...

Re: Andy P's Project....SOLD!
As far as I'm aware, the 1.4 and 1.7 gearbox are the same (so long as its a 5 speed!!). The difference is in the diff. Is it noisy whilst in gear or going into gear? If it's just going into gear double cheack the clutch adjustment nuts (on the end of the clutch cable thats sat in the clutch arm stic...

I don't think so (although it could be a combination of that?). When the rad fan kicks in which doesn't take that long (so i'm assuming the 'stat is ok) the temp gauge still reads low.

Re: Andy P's Project....SOLD!
Ken, Sorry for the late reply - I'm not on here that often. What you're missing from the pipe is a bung to block the pipe. The engine I got had the Modine oil Cooler on the side of the block. It was a right pain in the arse to plumb as I seemed to have an odd number of open ended pipes with nowhere ...

Re: valver's lamda sensor?
Yep, The cable is there to connect the Lambda sensor. You'll need an F7P lamda which are the basic ones found on ebay for a few quid. I've got a brand new one that I bought to fit but never got round to it. Its about somewhere and I can send that to you FOC as well. With regards to the seal Ken - wh...
