Thanks all for answering on such short notice,and yes it does that when there's a higher strain on the engine,when i,m trying to overtake someone( as i said above 2700 rpm).All of you handed me some good ideeas .....alt that is left to do is to start working Thanks again sm4 PS :Ifitted new gaskets ...

it could be just because the carb is absorbing air from somewhere else than it should?????? last spring i refited the carb on the engine and maybe that's when it happened.....I was having problem with steep slopes before but not every time......like i do now...if that's not it what else can it be???...

i've identified the problem.the original hose came with a splitter (that my car didn't have)one end goes to the carb,one tho the air filter,one to the oil separator.(i thought the conection to the filter was in the carb,that was before i saw the original conection on other 340 dl

the circuit that i'm talking about starts on the engine block(on my engine) forgot to say that the car is a 340 dl, and the engine is a b172k,and the recovery for the fumes is not on the rocker cover,but on the engine block! and after cuting the hose it didn't leak(it was leaking at the rocker cover...

:D i've found the answer to the leaking problem!!!! the oil pump has a cork (cap) that has a PETRIFIED gasket !! i used silicone to seal it up(not the final solution)until i find a new one at first it seemed to me too taht the leak is coming from the pulley at the distribution, belt but i was wrong ...
