Those doors can be found at Simmo's yard, Clifton Avanue, Long Eaton. When I last saw them, they were in very good condition and not the usual rusty crap. John doesn't charge the earth if you're right with him. I'm due a visit down there very soon so I'll have a look and let you know what ...

A small scrappy that I use now has a pair of 340 doors for a 3 door car, but they are dark grey and have manual lifters. They are however in very good condition.
Also for you 5 door owners, they have a set of these too, in silver.

A workmate of mine bought one of those spoilers for his Mazda MX-6. Within 1 hour of fitting it, he took it off and I was welding up the holes he'd just drilled to fit it

My Dad used to own a 1981 345GL(NNU 980W) back in '83 and kept it for 5 years. Had a go in it whilst learning but never bought my own till 1993 for just £30!(LGM 194W)

There was one VERY special treat in that yard...which I take it you didn't spot, and is long gone now (albeit its donor is still there). Ooh...dunno... That 1972 164 in white? Or how about that 1978 66GL in blue? If you were wondering where the airflow meter and the green injectors went from that 7...

Plenty of 3 series being broken...

A scrapyard that I often go to has loads of 340/360 Volvos in at the mo.
They also have a 760 turbo in as well for those of you wanting a 2.3 turbo conversion.
The place to be is Albert Looms at Spondon, Derby :D

Using any higher wattage bulbs will require the use of relays to avoid strain on the cars original wiring/switches. With this done, you can go upto 160/100watt bulbs without any problems. The relays themselves will help as they will put a full 12+ volts to the headlights, thus eliminating the age ol...

Remove the sump and clean out the oil strainer on the oil pick up pipe from the pump. On older cars, these have a tendancy to sludge up making it hard for the pump to suck up oil. Also check the pump itself for wear as it may not be working at full efficiency.
