but there are lots of parts listed for other vehicles that fit you just have to take some time and compare part no. and codes and do a little research. I have a set of predator fast road pads aswell on the front recently (haven't driven with them yet as the car is currently sorn so i can't tell you ...

i think they were about an inch longer rather than shorter ( only on full compression, the same length extended i think) but i got them quite a long time ago and can't remember exactly but i have been running them for at least six months and they've been fine. I was quite reluctant to use them at fi...

i'm gonna give a little bit of inside knowledge i found out, purely by chance as they looked very similar, which i am running on the back of my volvo. i picked up a set of spax adjustable gas shocks, with 11 stages of adjustment, secondhand, for a tr7, for 21 notes off flea bay. they are pretty much...

never heard anything before about fitting a 16v head to these engines but i'm sure its possible. Which head? i don't kno of a 16v engine's head which will fit. i would be very tempted to go injection as once its all on you can leave it alone. You'll just need to do a bit of research first to see wha...

did a bit of research on previous examples (yours included) and made some preliminary designs. then spent about a six months emailing people and companies to try and find a cheap insert that was close to the dimensions it needed to be. kyb do a really good adjustable insert for a old celica/corolla ...

oh and i know which mounting rubbers you mean. but the carbs/manifold don't really come too close meaning you would need long rubber section to account for this, or add some material to level it out. on a bike the manifold and carbs are pretty much touching and right next to the cylinder head meanin...

"I was thinking of properly bodge speccing it, angle grind the manifold 2-3" from the head plate, then silicon hosing and jubilee clips to the carbs" was thinking bout something like that.... but engine vibrations? Think it'll just shake its self loose..... I'm sure i can make summat  I don't l...

mikuni's appear to have a slightly larger range of jet sizes avaliable but still none big enough... i was going to invest in a set of micro drills and start small and keep taking material off until its about right, i don't like the idea of solder/adding material as i don't think i can get it even an...

i am planning to run a set of cbr600 semi flat side 36mm carbs, or if they're too small i have a set of 40mm kehins to try... As for the jet size i am going to use i am not sure. i will probably drill the main jets to 1.5-1.6mm and then set up from their. I'm planning to put a lambda sensor (wideban...

So far the best cam that i have found is one from an early 1.7 480ES engine code B18E which opens the inlet valve at 16 deg btdc and then closes at 64 deg abdc (I do not have the exhaust times) and provides a lift of 10.49mm. Although i have tried to locate one with no success I was wondering if any...

Thank you for the reply kinda given up hope on the thread In the end i have got a clio rsi manifold really cheaply which i am going to cut'n'shut to get the primaries the right length for the cam and then un it into a 2" side exit system (side exit manily because its cheaper not to go out the back.....
