Only got a reply off seller yesterday, so viewing wasn’t possible. So I’m waiting on extra close ups of the insides and around the car I asked for. I’m hoping the pictures show up at least a good hour before the auction ends. Front impact confirmed.

Are your rear clusters loose by any chance?

If your boot seals are good and the problem is still there it will be the foam seal on the actual rear clusters, water finds it way past them ...

SteveP - Were you thinking of a particular part that you want to change? Ie. the PAS system will be identical apart from the PAS fluid reservoir bracket.

I was hoping a GLE would be a potential donor car for all other parts aswell as the PAS lot. Was hoping they would be a straight swap over etc ...

Certainly explains the availability of Dinitrol being more costly than Waxoyl then.

Must admit while using waxoyl i did find it sits on the suface rather than penetrate at room temp. But slight application of heat seems to do the trick though, which would mean Dinitrol would have been the ideal ...

I've had the chassis box sections waxoyled through out, the garage idiots have dented them by using them as jacking points! :evil: so only the arches and usual drainage areas will probably need this treatment.
