Re: fuel cell?

If it's an MOT fail, make a quick-release valve in between the 2 tanks so that it's easily removable for MOT.

Re: How many 1976 343s still in existence?

The slammed brown? 343 on banded Nova (Corsa A) SR steels with roofrack could be another uber early car? I think I have a pic of it somewhere if no-one knows the car I mean? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v431/pethconi/rest-343/300820101236.jpg 1 - june - 1977 is the license plate date. http://f...

Re: Visit to a Volvo 343 GLS R-Sport

Tom, any info on the car in the OP? Has it been sold and is the new owner known?
Why didn't you get the tuning parts off of it and left the rest ;)

What about shipping to Netherlands both per set and bulk? I'd take a set, maybe more V3C members will...

This was standard on some special editions. If you had a basic version special edition (like the RAI-special, not sure if UK got those too...) you'd probably get the 2 aux. dials and the big clock.

Re: Volvo 300 Part and accesories, Dash collection

I see 2 different style eco-gauges (one with black/white dial, one with red-white dial) and a shifter indicator.

Do you have a mk1 frontbeam, the one underneath the frontbumper?
In good or new condition.

Re: Just a thought

Can be either 340 or 360. Gears in every 5-speed are the same.

For a 360 box, you have to change the propshaft coupling, which is connected by only a couple bolts.
Adds about 1 minutes 24 seconds to the process

I am pretty sure another order of the same quantity will follow within a couple weeks. Maybe a little less, maybe a little more. Would you be able to supply these on demand?

Re: Just a thought

Easy job. remove the central driveshaft (slide off), remove 2 secondairy driveshafts (6 allens or hex bolts), remove shifter-axle from gearbox, remove 4 bolts and the whole thing drops. Reinstalling is opposite of removing. make sure you buy a 5-speed box INCLUDING diff because the 4-speed diff does...
