they will probably fit a 480 and maybe a 440.
Other Volvos are nearly all 5 stud...
they are a common stud pattern though, so there are a lot of other small FWD cars they fit...I might be wrong, but I think they are Honda pattern also.

Absolutely change the belt for sure! In the 245 I went from D cam to K cam and it picked up quite a bit of grunt but moved it up the revs a bit. It starts to jump at 2500 and pulls until about 4500-5000 then starts to taper off. I got to drive a 242GT with teh H cam and it pulls much higher but has ...

Avalon is not a Aussie Camry at all. It is the American one a size up from a Camry, when they facelifted teh yank one they shipped the tooling out here. Only pensioners and hire fleets bought them so they quit making them. We make Camrys here in Aus, as well as a bigger V6 only one called the Aurion...

Damn thing left me stranded yesterday, wouldn't start for going to work so I had to take a day off and fix it. Turned out that the rotor arm was pitted and burned, there was not much left of the contacts inside the rotor cap, one plug lead came in half in my hands, and the plugs were all shagged. It...

Damn, I don't have a 24mm deep socket. I know this because that is the socket required to remove the top nut on a 240 strut. I do have a 27mm deep socket though, for the 240 steering wheel.... Most of my unusual tools are geared towards working on 240s. So I will have a 24mm deepsocket soon to put t...

Bloody indicator/main beam switch is stuffing up. It now will not self cancel and you have to pull the switch hard back into the steering wheel to change beams......and my workshop manual hasn't arrived yet  Other than that, it is just as entertaining as ever.....although the rear end letting g...

Not just across the redblock range. It is the same filter from the OHV redblock on a 140/160 right through to the whiteblocks in S40s etc at least up to 1999.
I believe a Saab filter fits right on too.

hmmmmmm......
Which 360s had power steer then?
I am looking at using a 360 rack for a conversion as it is the right size, but I want power steer for it.

Hopefully the new workshop manual comes in a couple of days, then I won't be poking around in the dark when I am working on it....

Nah, whe's not jacked up, probably has a bit of front sag but mostly it is sitting on a slight incline. I think the rear axle tube is a little bent as it seems to have excessive negative camber up the back, and chews the inside of the back tyres. Of course it doesn't help the poor tyres that it is s...
