I think what people are saying is that you have a Mk 2 car with a grille that's had the Volvo logo and diagonal stripe removed. It's also had a Mk 3 front bumper fitted for some reason.

Sadly I'm offering my 340 for sale. I bought it about 6 months ago - there are pics here

The car's now just done 60,000 and has been a great reliable daily runner.

I did a full oil, filters and plugs change when I bought it but it's probably due for a service and a fettle now ...

I bought my 340 on ebay about a month ago for £350 but it was in better condition than that appears to be and did have a 12 month MOT.

In case you're interested, that car was originally registered in Bradford - that's the home of old style 'HD' registrations as far as I know.
