Re: 2.3 turbo swap

Thanks for the reply, just to check, are you totally sure the et's are the 9mm con rods? I'd read the et was 13mm, there was 3 different versions of the ft, the first 2 having 9mm rods and the third having 13mm and the oil spray you talked about. Also I've got jetronic injection, I stripped an early...

Re: Steering rack speeds

Unfortuatly I steered from the rear a bit to much today, straight into some railings. Dam it! Much repairing to be done. There's got to be something wrong with the car, other than everything i've bent today

Re: radiator

alright joe, dont belive the crack, i had a 440 one in my old car, it wasnt a straight swap, i think i had to drill 2 holes in the front panel for the feet to sit in and make some brackets at the top, but all the hoses line up except one which is doubled up on the opposite side but has a blank on it...

Steering rack speeds

Does any one know if there is a difference between the gearing of a 343 82 car and an 87 340 both DLs, I'm sure I've got better lock but a slower rack on the 340, I've been thinking about swaping the racks, the 343s didn't get to crispy, I've spun the 340 a couple of time cos I just can't get enough...

Re: rear diff 340

I could strip it of the gear box to make it lighter and package it for you if you, if you want to organise a courier, they can collect it from my work. I'll probaby scrap it if you don't need it, I haven't got much storage space free!

I've just took one out of my car and replaced it with a welded one, it's complete with the 4 speed box, but I'm in Carlisle. Let me know if you need it.
