340 Taxi...
A colleague posted me a link to a picture of one, https://picasaweb.google.com/113525715760559900783/Taksiautoja?authuser=0&feat=directlink&gsessionid=SQcr0qqIirdwSJGjOLaUZA#5594526559529944018 Now, as much as I like 300s, I'm not sure I'd like to drive one of those for a 10-12 hour taxi shift. From...

Yay! Even though I don't have an early 343, these would look hot even on a 340

This (second) time around I was driving a red Volvo S40 with Finnish plates, though that is still quite inconspicuous in the busy traffic.trabitom99 wrote:Pity you weren't driving a 300, atroch would have been most confused seeing an excited Fiesta driver waving his hands about

Re: Not many 300's anymore in the Netherlands?
Well... although it was a mk1, the rear had the newer style lettering for "343". And now I checked the page
http://volvo.atroszko.pl/
and it seems that the registration plate indeed matches what I saw. So, caught in action.

Re: Not many 300's anymore in the Netherlands?
Bump! Yesterday I had a short peep through the Netherlands (was actually headed for Antwerpen). Crossed the German/Dutch border at about 15:40, and a short time after that I saw a yellow 343 on the road (A67 I think). I remarked to my wife, this is what we missed on the last trip, a 300-series Volvo...

Not many 300's anymore in the Netherlands?
I went for a short visit in the Netherlands recently. Five days in a rental Ford Fiesta  . I tried to keep my eyes open and saw all kinds of nice classic cars among the daily runners. Several Volvo Amazons, even one P1800. Too many 200-series to count, although the car population in general wa...

And now that thing is for sale. http://www.nettiauto.com/volvo/360/3314046 Translation of the first question: "Would you sell the louvre separately?" - the answer, of course, is "no". But geez, 1400 euros for the car. Although it's been lowered, it has leather seats, and apparently a l...

Re: 300 parts still available at Volvo
Well... that PSA part that I have has a PCD of 50 mm so it's not an exact match, because the Metro one had 48 mm according to the information in that auction.
