cheers dude my car is a 1983, its got the multi point injection system on it with no flywheel sensor but it has an adjustable distributor on the right hand side of the block not sure on on what engine code it is but i can have a play with it now i have some figures. thanks again

can anyone tell me what degrees btdc the ignition timing needs to be on a 360 gle with injection its on an a reg if that makes any difference cheers

fair play to ya ;) what i was thinking was using a sierra gearbox with a custom bell housing and prop and use the diff as well on a custom mount which would be pretty easy to do using the mounts from the chassis on the 340 i'm sure that would be able to put up with 150 bhp and replacement parts woul...

i use the vehicle for drifting so clutch kicking is all part of it. i have thought about a custom prop but that will just make the end of the gearbox the weak point whiich i have snapped 3 of i have already checked the engine allignment and its dead true, was only thinking of putting the 360 set up ...

not really sure to be honest i was told u could take out the input shaft and bearing on the 340 bell housing take off the bell housing on the 360 set up then it apparently bolts up????????? but i am unsure of this as for the mounts i really am not sure how it is done as i have never seen the under s...

can anyone tell me if the 340 bell housing can fit the 360 transmission i have been told by a couple of people it can be done and a couple of people it wcant be done has anyone on here actually done this conversion??? and if so what sort of problems can i expect? any info would be appreciated cheers
