yeah, i think i'll have to. it's not a fun job when you live down a thin road with no driveway so you have to dodge the cars trying to squeeze past your legs...

well, problems is a slight understatement... i have recently replaced my diff in my 340.... after running the car for a good hour afterwards (sensibly) my gearbox started making some awful noise, like a whineing through first second and third. can someone please tell me that its only a small bearing...

i have checked the rotor arm is spinning, that was one of the first things i checked. since my last post i have bought a cps for it and will fit it tomorrow...

could be a rookie question but i'll risk it anyway; did any 340's come with immobilisers standard?

i have bought a 1.4 340 only it won't spark...

i have replaced the plugs, checked all the leads for continuity, replaced the distributer cap, the rotor arm and the coil... i still have no spark.

does anyone have any thoughts?
