ye all havent heard off me in a while...got it home since, and also blew a diff (3rd gear messing LOL) since...
finally got a new diff (2 people in the whole of f*cking republic of ireland had one..!!!!)
still on the lookout for a HPT actuator and MBC, if anyone has and lying around f/s...?

You should be ok up to 10, maybe 12psi. Beyond that you need to look at chips, bigger injectors, raising the fuel pressure, etc. There's plenty of info on Turbobricks. cheers James just joined turbobricks there now, and used you as a referral 8) now to read through the forum's, and ask for more def...

I suspected as much. Surely Volvo HPT actuators for a 13c aren't that rare...? cheers James over the pond in Ireland 940's aren't exactly commonplace in the scrappie's :( If You need actuator, PM me!! PM on the way... btw I assume its an actuator for a higher PSI boost, will the ECU from the B230FK...

@foggyjames: if its a TD04 turbo I'm looking for, couldn't I also try getting a standard Impreza WRX actuator, as they have a TD04 standard VS the Evolution with a TD05..?

was just thinking the other day that I might leave the HPT actuator for another while...stil welded up the diff on tuesday, time to smoke some tyres

which IMO is awkward.some other forum's I use use Vbulletin (or something similar) and they all have a "quote" and a "multiquote" button....making it a lot easier

"HPT" car?? please explain, I'm simple LOL :roll: High Pressure Turbo. There were two versions of the engine, one was restricted. By fitting the higher pressure actuator you'd have the power of an HPT. and you also explain where I am to put a bleed valve, and why...does it actually up the boost...?...

I just meant an actuator off a HPT car.. which will basically be free under £10 from a breaker! Manual Boost Controller for about £40, well worth the expense for the gains!!
