Have to admit I don't know much about these kind of fuel pumps, I only have spanner experience with mechanical ones (dam tractors mostly) and my simple facet pump for a carbed beetle engine - this is actually my main problem if i'm totally honest!

Cool... What sort of pump is it, ie where is it mounted?

Although to be honest I'm not dead set on using one, it just seems like a cheap way of getting swirl pot filter and pump all in one. Any other ways of doing this on the cheap would be cool too.. I've not got much money!

I read on here somewhere about using a MK2 gti fuel pump as it's a pump, filter, and mini swirl pot all in one. Question is, which one do I need? There seems to be two types, one for digifant injectin, one for kjet injection. I believe the digifant pumps are a lone unit, and the kjet pumps also need...

I know this aint quite done yet, but this is very useful already:D

I gotta say thanks for posting this.. I'm planning the same job myself sometime in teh summer and being able to read through the whole process in detail like this will make a massive difference. It makes a job a lot more attractive when you can know 100% what's involved before you start. Thanks agai...

Interestingly enough grayston list subaru/nissan as 14.4mm and the ebay sellers I found say 14.1.. Not really that interesting now I think about it.
