Re: WTB - 343 Instrument / Dash Panel
I remember the Star Wars debates that used to go on here. It would be interesting if the scifi purists take a similar stance towards us i.e. "You're not going to use it on a bl**dy car are you!?"

Re: 360 carby fuel supply
Not quite fit-and-forget since the car had an occassional issue of idling too fast (2000 rpm) which I couldn't easily sort out. I had noticed that the problem was due to the plunger at the side of the carb (which is to do with float chamber ventilation) kept getting pulled into the down position by ...

Re: 2021 300 Goals ?
Awesome work, the socket dismantling tools arrived the other day, but I can still only remove the round connectors. The flat blade ones are a mare. Any clues?

Happy new year. Well, I have fitted a new (very old) light in the garage. The bulb holder is porcelain! https://i.ibb.co/Dpzw1HW/16094656913264.jpg https://i.ibb.co/HhZv5WB/16094656913013.jpg https://i.ibb.co/rvp9f9Z/16094656912302.jpg https://i.ibb.co/R7ns3zb/16094656911921.jpg https://i.ibb.co/bWr...

Re: Rear brakes soft
The first thing I would blame is the hand brake lever which goes through the back plate of the rear wheels. It has a pivot in it which always seizes and this messes up any adjustments.

Re: Brake Upgrades
Really? My 1.4 used to stop on a sixpence. I actually wanted to downgrade the brakes so my head wouldn't keep going through the windscreen ;-0 The 1.7's are similar. The 360 was a bit different (wouldn't ever skid in a test stop, although it kept passing the MOT) but a new old servo fixed that. Now ...

Re: Is anyone still alive ;-?
Hello, I went over to cubeupload which is OK and doesn't resize images but then I had a look at my old photobucket account again and it seemed pretty good, so might start using that more. I heard that imgbb is good, but a look at the website just now shows its a bit short on info. Anyhow, I uploaded...

Re: Fuse box connector burnt.
Thank you. I always wondered how to crimp those things properly. There should deffo be enough room if you are willing to remove/replace the wiring loom cable-ties. They are the only things that would make it a tight fit, I think.
