brakes
Hello, One of my passenger side rear break pads has come apart so that only the one pad is now working on that wheel. In addition to the grinding noise it now makes when I brake, I have less breaking power. I'd like to fix the breaks myself but never having done it before I'm interested in any advis...

On another thread a guy suggested cleaning the points of the fuse as they could be dirty and that worked for him. I was thinking I would do that, I go out to the car a...

winter here - no heater
I've read the other discussion on heaters and can add my experience. My 340's heater would work in summers and then sometimes not winters (for the last 2 years). As it began to get cold this year, after starting the car I would bang the heater duct with an ice scraper and then the heater would crank...

Horn doesn't work
It just stopped working one day and I've pretty much lived without it for a year but having just found this amazing site, I thought I'd ask if someone has any advise on reviving the car's horn.
Thanks

Just read the discussion
Hello to those who have contributed all the info on the discussion so far. My 86 340 has lots of problems but i'm committed to it and although not a mechanic, tend to try what i can before giving in and taking it to a repair shop. My problem with the heater is just as described earlier. Today I took...
