The little clip that holds the cable in the end cap may be deformed or missing allowing the cable to move further in. Happened the other week on my sisters car, the clip was deformed making it to wide to hold the cable properly.

Inlet manifold to exhaust manifold: Bolt...... 7 to 13 lbf ft - 10 to 18 Nm Screw... 11 to 15 lbf ft - 15 to 20 Nm Nut...... 11 to 15 lbf ft - 15 to 20 Nm Manifolds to cylinder head B172.... 13 lbf ft - 18 Nm All other models... 11 to 15 lbf ft - 15 to 20 Nm They don't sound much but is what my book...

Just missed out, I'm just on the road to scrapping my wife's car and it had the full set but before I could get back to the car to do some stripping my sister got in there and swiped them for hers.

Yeah, isn't he producing the mk2 ones?

Is there any difference in shape between the mk2 and mk3 ones apart from the side repeater in the mk2's? If not then that's not a problem as the hole could be filled or you could always put in some repeaters if that's what you like.

Just wondering if anyone got around to making fibreglass front wings for the mk3 and producing them on request?

I know there has been talk about fibreglass wings but mainly for the mk2 but not heard much of mk3 ones being made. Is anyone producing them and if so what price?

Dai, how do poly ones hold up to the heat and stretching? Are they far better then the rubber type and should they last a few years? Not bothered about colour as not seen unless under the car, wife's car anyway so I don't care as i'm only the sap who has to fix it, just want something that will last...

Sorry Mac you're absolutely right, I was reading in on the B19 engine and not the 1.4. My mistake Appologies everyone! It is near the bulkhead.

Is it conventional or electronic (breakerless) ignition system? If conventional then mac and the drawing are correct but if it's breakerless type (that's what mine is so went by that, sorry forgot about the conventional being different :oops: ) then number 1 is nearest the fan. They are 1,2,3,4 from fan to bulkhead but to wire them up from dizzy is 1, 3, 4, 2
