420Nm is pretty safe. 440Nm and all you need is 1 full throttle acceleration on 3rd gear. It breaks cause the 3rd gears cogwheel is in the middle of the long axel, and the axel bends making it slip.

Yes in 240 Volvos.. But not in the 360.. Allways electronic..

And someone pulled 12.7 sec@402m with 2 strömbergs.. Still the carb sucks like a mother fucker :roll:

Buy the engine of course! Its not expencive..

But forget the K-Jet it sucks.. Put the Le-Jet thats used in 360!

For the best result you should get Megasquirt or some other programmable engine managment unit 8)

I have 9" and i think you have to do something whit the shocks if you put the 12" in the rear axel?

The horsepower doesnt matter, its the torque! M47 will explod at 440Nm allmost instantly! The 47R that was in my 360 did not break even whit 435Nm torque (370Nm Backwheel Newtons) Propably because the power came whit so hi revs around 4000rpm? But if the power is there allready in about 3000rpms the...
