Re: Volvo 340 Rally Car *Final Reduction*
Reduced for a final time. A steal at this price! I'd rather see it get used than broken though. However, that will have to happen if I don't sell it soon

Re: Volvo 340 Rally Car *Now Reduced*
Price now reduced to £1800. Also willing to listen to offers.
Last chance before it gets broken! A rather rare opportunity I would say.

Volvo 340 Rally Car *Now Sold*
A unique opportunity to purchase my beloved 1.4L Volvo 340. Cheap, economical and well-built rear-wheel drive fun! Great finishing record. Would make an awesome first rally car. Detailed specification as follows: Low-mileage (for a 24 year old car) 2-door shell Recent carburettor rebuild and tune (a...

B172K Engine
Hey guys, I'm looking for a bit more power in my 340. I'd love to have a valver (infact, I have an engine ready to go!), but they keep changing the damn rules (or threatening to!). I'm after a B172K. Low mileage, or well looked after. Something solid, as it will be going in my rally car. What have y...

O/S Front Wing
Hey guys,
I'm after an offside (drivers side) front wing for a 340/360. Preferably in good or easily repairable condition.
Had a little prang in the rally car and need a wing rather urgently
Thanks
Matt

Re: MKII vs. MKIII Bumper Differences
Thanks for the information guys.
I've managed to source a MKIII bumper, as it just seems easier.
The reason I asked about a MKII bumper is that Liam had all the additional bits I needed too (trumpets for example).
All sorted now. Useful to know anyway! Thanks

MKII vs. MKIII Bumper Differences
Hello guys, I've had a look, but can't find any definitive answers about this topic. I had a bit of a prang on a rally at the weekend, and I'm after a new front bumper. I've found (most of) a MKII bumper for sale, but will it fit? Liam has the trumpets, bottom strip from under the lights and a botto...

Re: broady81's 340 road rally car
Update needed I think! Managed to get through the logbooking process unscathed (just damage to my wallet). Thanks to Dai for sending me the engine mounts at short notice! Had a great blast on the North West Stages at the weekend. 51st overall and 7th in class. Not awful for my first stage rally :) N...

Engine Crossmember
I'm after the front engine crossmember from a 340. I think that's the correct terminology. For clarity, it's the big one that the engine mounts to via bushes. Like the right-hand one on this picture: http://i1113.photobucket.com/albums/k510/Jonathan_Hawkes/DSC_0041-1.jpg And if you're wondering why?...

Re: broady81's 340 road rally car
Bizarrely, the seats and belts are in date! It's the window film, extinguishers, that kind of thing. Plumbing in my hydraulic handbrake too! Hopefully I get it done it time!Chris_C wrote:Great news mate, how much does it need to log book? Can't be that much... just in date bits?
Pictures to follow!

Re: broady81's 340 road rally car
Quick update guys:
Decided to logbook the 340 and do the North West Stages in February. It will be my first stage rally!
Car is currently undergoing some work to get it up to scratch. I'll keep you posted.

Relocating front jacking points
Hi guys, I'm having an issue with my 340 and it's roll cage, and wondered if you guys had any suggestions? The front cage feet have three bolts through them. Two of the bolts are perfect, but the centre bolt goes straight through the jacking point. Unfortunately, I can't get the minimum diameter bol...
