Re: UK Vehicle Licensing Statistics

It says there are only 10 Toyota 1000's Taxed and the same SORN'd.

If this is true I really need to get on with rebuilding mine.

I guess there is some question regarding the accuracy but at least you guys can access this information. No chance over here.

Re: Time to Weld

Cheers for the info Chris.

Last minute POA means I'll have to miss the event this weekend due to unforeseen circumstances

Next event is on Paddy's Day though so not to long until I get to run again. Some other fettling can now be completed though!

Re: Nav Event Completed - Roll on Enduro

Chris - Tell me more about this exhaust mod.

The lights are indeed awful but my spots were down in Laois and I didn't have time to fit them. Sod's law as well - It was very foggy in places

Re: Nav Event Completed - Roll on Enduro

Theo, Managed to save some cash to spend on lowering as I got it insured on a classic policy. Definitely not a chequebook build this one

VND, I'll get some decent photos up when I get the wheels on.

Re: Work has begun - Navigation Event Tomorrow Night

I didn't get any photos last night as it was chucking it down in the Wicklow Hills. The 340 made it through unscathed even after we missed a hairpin white and had to make a spirited run to get back on time. A Cento who made the same mistake didn't fare so well and did half the event with t...

Re: Work has begun - Navigation Event Tomorrow Night

It is indeed a manta. My mates dad has had it since new - It's a 76 and now has a 2.4 in it for Retro Events

The Endurance Event is a lot closer than the Britvic - Dublin/Meath/Kildare Area

Re: Work has begun - Navigation Event Tomorrow Night

Finally got cracking on this now that I sold the Starlet and I really needed to have a quick win project given the glacial progress of the KP. I ordered a a set of -50mm springs and 2" rear lowering blocks and and managed to get hold of some landrover shocks locally. Last weekend this happened http:...

Modest Motorsport Requirements, Lower & Stiffen on a Budget?

Ok Guys, If this has been addressed before (and I'm sure it probably has) please point me in the right direction. I'm aware it the tried and tested "lowering" question but I'm interested in any advice members my have regarding the 340 in motorsport applications. I've decided to do a couple of autote...

Re: Cavalier drift???? NVC

I dont really have a problem with people who have a bit of craic whatever their driven axle.

What I never understand is how they think it would be a good idea to drop off their mate on the side of the round and then video this uselessness and then post it on the interweb.

Re: Cavalier drift???? NVC

They're actually bunny ear ones that I put on after clipping 4 pylons in a row with the original wing mirrors on a slalom test in one competition. (5secs penalty for each pylon)

I think I bought them to put on an E30 but then found a better use for them !
