It's got 4 doors.

If I get time tomorrow I'll take some pictures. Any bits in particular that you want to see?

340DL, white, for sale

Hello, Long time since I've posted. I was lured away by a cheap and dirty French model that has turned out to be costly and demanding. The trusty Volvo has sat outside unused, waiting for some minor repairs that, due to our soggy summer, I didn't get round to doing. I occasionally start it up and dr...

007? More like Basra! Although I've often wondered about installing one of those, er, adjustable seats for when the missus fails to grasp the difference between 'lost' and 'deviating from the obvious route'. (ahem) And yes, I guess it's a trip to a scrappy. Had 10 min poking about but no joy. In a w...

Handbrake lever button and projectiles

Hi all, Haven't posted for a while. The 340 has run well, problem free in fact, and I've been busy doing non-car things. Even passed its MOT two weeks ago! Took it in three weeks early as I'd lost the certificate and couldn't remember the expiry date. Not even one of those 'pay attention to ...' not...

Ooops, blasted outbox. I've sent them now.

I've also got a maths paper to hand in on Thurday evening, so if Friday is dry I'll post some more on my site.

Don't be too harsh on badgers! Had a big fatty (I'm talking American or glandular problem fat) living near my garage who would waddle up a little hill, caught in the headlights. Always good for a smile. Farmer has since cleared where it lived. I know they have a bad rep because of TB and their bite,...

How silly. Why am I even writing this?

Andrew needs:

a railway (cos I can't afford the one in the UK)
the love (of a not-so-good woman)
a manual (how true, still haven't got a haynes)
to visit this site (when the 340s no well)
a belt (of the trouser kind I hope)

Terrible!

http://www.playazon.com/fashion/merkin_light.html for when people of his age have gone to bed. It was the ‘Customers who bought this product wished they’d also bought..’ that had us laughing.

We had this problem with a local community site, uttoxeter.biz. Forum and guestbook endlessly filling up with 'adult' stuff.

smf seems to be the solution.

Of course, can't stop the personal poster, but the bots are currently kept at bay!

Good luck, at least you know this site is worth the bother.

People speeding up on the motorway is fun in the 360...if in doubt, 60mph is 4000rpm in 3rd, and 3rd will take you (rather quickly) to 90-95... Hmmm, not recognising that as my current driving experience in the trusty 340DL. 60mph in 4th is a straining sound from the engine, in 5th it's purring. I'...

MOT pass!

Blimey. It passed. No extra bills. I'm not sure I've ever had a car that passed without a rubber gator, or brake adjustment, or weld, etc. One year or so on and I'm a convert. The 340DL 1.7 is fun! Wish it had just a bit more spark in the 40 to 70mph range. I'm used to the bouncy feel now and feelin...

Volvo drivers' whinging forum! In the spirit of exploring total volvo ownership... Yes, tailgaters. I slow down (right down) and let them overtake. Annoys them as much as me. Yes, people who speed up when you try to overtake. Especially around these rural parts, where many roads are single carriagew...
