360 and 340 gearbox compatibility

Hi chaps, I've got a 360 at the moment, put a welded diff in it yesterday and seem to have lunched my gearbox :( . It still drives but theres lots of grinding and scraping and it's difficult to select gears. Fourth is fine though oddly. I'm going to flush the diff and box out tomorrow and see what c...

Re: B200k running-on

Thanks chaps, I'll have a look at the mixture (by this I mean find someone who knows what they're doing  ) I've got some time off work owing so might give the carb an overhaul at the same time. It needs a cambelt too so I might just whip the head off and give a proper clean. As a side note, th...

Re: B200k running-on

Yeah, I diagnosed it as the anti run-on valve. The *ahem* B200ft needs a rebuild first, or at the very least a new water pump, and the loom sorting out before I can think of swapping it in. Plus it's got 198k on it so I don't know if it'll be a case of out the frying and into the fire. You know of a...

B200k running-on

Hi guys, recently entered 300 ownership with a 360 GLS with a B200k. I'm having a few running on problems. At first I thought it was the timing, I figured I was justified when I found the dizzy was seized to the block but upon freeing it and setting it by ear the dizzy back to where it was previousl...

Blocks yes. If you grind the nipple off the top face. Ubolts no. Straight hi tensile are what you needs.
Ahh I see, I've only had a 300 since thursday, I assumed they were u-bolts. Thanks :)
