well foggy i have 2 lsd's......1 COULD be for sale !! 1 is clutch type,other is a powerlock. powerlock's are the best as it works as a normal diff in normal conditions untill you dump the clutch or power slide and it locks in giving drive to both wheels leaving 2 big tyre marks instead of 1. my pers...

well the 1 i have is a works talbot sunbeam 1 !! its from a lhd sunbeam with some mods it goes in !! dont ask me what the mods are tho as i didn t do them some1 else fitted it!!

yeah even on fwd cars the new ones should go on back !! not front as 99.9% of people will tell you !!
as for the understeer,i always get a little then massive over.....its even worse on the loose !! on loose i use a 155 or at most 175 13 on front with 185 on back. this helps it turn in better.

carlos fandango-LOL most rwd rims will fit...BMW,OPEL,VAUXHALL etc all have same pcd !! as people have said , theres no point in doing things in 1/2 measures,if you drop the back end and stiffen up shocks you will more than likely get massive understeer from the poor front end handling!! you got to ...

nothing wrong with allegros-nothing right with them too !! i had 1, i bought it about 16years ago for £70 with 12months mot and a little tax,1 owner from new !! swapped it for a mk2 mini after a few months :lol:

my bro has a ford bronco 5.5 v8 ,before that he had a f150 6.0l straight 6. believe it or not the bronco on gas is more fuel efficient than my 360 and thats even when he tows a caravan with wife and 3 kids and all bikes n stuff in !!!

i have y plate 83 which i run on a mix of u/l + lrp
also a plate 83 which i use lrp in
can easy get fuel gadgets to convert u/l to similar octane for £40 ish

trumpets are cheap enough for some nice shiney ones,but it depends on what filter/s you put on, for the length etc. another thing if you fit them is be carefull of brake servo,you get a far far better vaccum from injection than the carbs....does the r sport have a different master cylinder/servo????...

webber,solex or dellorto's-40 or 45's ?? strange that the trumpets are different sizes-something to do with the filters/filter box? should give it a nice induction note none the less :mrgreen: i would take them when fitted to local agent/dealer to set up as it aint easy-on my old minis i used to use...
