I hate ATF. It's for automatic transmissions or for people who want the slick hair look. Gear oil is for gears and so on.. I found the cheapest and easiest way for me to do my oils is to use volvo penta oils as I have a large marine engine/gearbox and I do buy it in bulk from the stealership here. S...

I usually run my 360 on australian PREMIUM unleaded, or vortex or whatever they call it, but my parents put some standard unleaded in and yes, it was pinking like a bastard. But what about ethanol blended fuel? The australian government wants to mix ethanol with unleaded. To stop pinking on lower oc...

Random parts wanted..

Hey all, after spending $1000 at the local tyre and suspension place here, I still have a list of parts that he couldn't get (hard to think why) All for a 360GLT in Australia, march 1984 model. -Steering rack (right hand drive) -rear taillight cluster (both, as they're sun damaged) -right hand headl...

I think the issue here is that I need more work and money spent on the suspension and all the things falling off at the moment. I got the B200E so no carby and the blower had a clutch on it. I'm having problems with my duoprop drive on my boat which is more important right now  I'll get stuck i...

I couldn't find one that'd fit in the available space at the time. The blower was too big to fit in the space that was there. Anyways, if I go pulled over by the police with it on I would have been screwed. (they're nasty here, Seargent Jock doesn't like me 'cause I'm a DJ and I have LOUD parties, a...

I'm over the supercharger.

Ok, I admit defeat. After blowing my third head gasket and a lack of tools and parts to molest and mash together, the blower off my boat has proved too big and is causing more trouble than it's worth, so I put it back on the shelf. All those who laughed at me before may laugh again until I find a sm...

I've owned a fuel/oil guzzling Holden Commodore V8, and one with a straight 6, a Datsun Bluebird with triple SU carbs, and one without. A Toyota Tarago with a 8000W stereo (stolen!) and a Nissan '65 4X4 with no floor, clutch or 2nd gear (first car. It lived in a creek bed...) I think that's it, I'll...

Ok, I didn't post this to make fun of anyone, nor have I felt the need to whip out my can since I owned a V8. But that v8 would use 4L of oil to every 50L of fuel..... you can see why I love my 360, even if it has issues!

Does anyone make a kind of bolt on heavy duty shock absorber for a 360? All I can find to buy new here in Australia are the monroes, which are good, but the roads where I live are not... I don't want to have to modify too much, the supercharger is enough for now. I don't even think monroe even makes...

Another simple one, you'll be hearing from me in the record shops soon. New album (only 2 decent tracks so far) in stores as soon as it's produced!!! Breakbeat, D&B and psy trance. I'm playing with VJ as well. And my entire system (all 800W of it) fits in the back of my 360GLT if I take the baby sea...

and you guessed it, no passport for me. I work on the great barrier reef, I got no use for sheep, unless we have some new zealanders on board... ...I'm gonna get in trouble for that aren't I?

I got an intake plenum from a KAD43 I could have even thrown in too! It's black!

hey thanks guys, that does help heaps. Poly or nolathane bushes would be a preference. Track rod end might mean tie rod end maybe?? I do need rack ends and tie rod ends. It's mainly the bushes that the mechanic can't find and any second hand parts that I'll need. Most stuff like shock absorbers and ...

Ok, I found the list of stuff I need for the underneath of my 360glt. Strut bar to chassis bush, lower inner control arm bush, rear shackle bushes (my mechanic can't find these), front struts or cartridges to fit my old struts, both rack ends and an engine pipe. I removed my air con compressor to ma...

Hey guys, I've been a bit slack, but the local sargent has told me to buy a few parts. The steering and suspension bloke here can't source any rear shackle bushes, and mine are sad. A pair of headlights (I only need the reflectors, but it's cheaper and easier to get the whole thing) and rear tail li...
