Its possible the low temp is chilimg the old wire so much its reducing current flow. its not common but does happen. a more likely option would be stiff relays. But i can't say for positive these ideas are your issue. try things like flashing your lights rapidly see if it makes anything work faster...

No idea.. It's still on the car.. My daily, so wasn't planning on taking it off before I have a new one.. More anxious about the prise axle though..

Title states it's a 1.4.. B14,4S to be precise.. Axle got foobered by the propshaft, so I just want to put a new one in. Heard that it would be best to change the bearing while at it..

Does anybody know where I can get a new bearing and prise axle for the tailpiece of the clutch housing? And does anybody have a used propshaft (between clutchousing and gearbox) for sale?

The splines on the axle of the tailpiece are foobered on my 340 manual. Does anybody know if it's possible to remove the tailpiece without taking out the clutch housing?
