It means your going to have to take an angle grinder to your car followed by a lot of welding - big job and very probably not worth it unless your going for big power (and questionable even then)

In Banzai magazine I saw project in which they swap engine and transmission and pedals were some kind of problem to adjust...

Finding Volvo 340 in good condition is mission impossible for me... :-( so I found (in order to buy it) Volvo 240 with automatic transmission and non rust body and I would like to made swapping transmissions (hand is hand afterall... :D ) from automatic to manual M46/7 or M50 from 700 series ...
well I would take some 2.3l engine from 700 / 900 model and ECU and fuel pump as well so it sems not to be such problem
what about power steering in that case?
what about lowering front end? do I have to take shorter and stiffer springs? (any sugestions?)
