Bad news.
The new radiator works fine but the pressure is to high.
The head has to go off again. We will inspect the block too, i am taking the car to much serious mechanic this time!

I can not upload pics...to big....but nevermind, I found one J.DEUS radiator for 77 GBP that is almost simillar. I need to drill some holes to fit but it is not much problem

Thanks for your post....but i did not understan does the 1,7 radiator fit or not? It wouldn't be much diferent cause there are no 1,7 radiator also :) The cost for rebulding the radiator Is 200 GBP that is to much there are lot's of new aftermarket radiators for about 50 GBP. I am thinking of going ...

d16 radiator leakage
My radiator is bursting all the time...i've welded it several times but it is bursting again and again. I've redon head gasket but problem still exists. Weldig guys sad that the pressure of the cooling system is ok and that radiator is old...some oder guys say that the head job is not done properly....

V belt is 10 x 750 I ve looked it again.... So, conclusion, V belt is ok, alternator belt is ok, but it brakes every 2 months....hm...mystery? :) And, when broken, part of it came under the time belt and make it jump few ribs, so the diesel pump was not in the phase and i had to tow it to the mechan...

My engine number is 13240?
That is the only number that has 5 digit and is mounted on a little plate on the side of an engine block.

Please help, alternator belt broken 2 months old, i wonder if that is normal? When I tighten it, after maybe 150, 200 km, the alternator indicator start to blink. It blinks once or twice and no more, the belt feels tighten when touched by hand, but it snaps. I don,t know what is the problem. The mec...

Excellent man, it is nice to see that there are still people who care about technical heritage! Traction Avant is a beauty, i saw one here in Zagreb few month ago and it is just amazing to see it in normal traffic condition.

Problem solved! It was the oil filter, just as Mac said. The salesman gave me a Purflux filter, said that that is original one for all France engines. It is smaller than Champion one and it has the anti drain valve in the middle. Because it is almost twice smaller it is much easier to mount on. Than...
