in some citys the government, teached by the EU, created the "umweltzone" only for cars with kathalysator. They think that it is really useful, but the last years it didn`t change the emission. When they startet the "umweltzone" in our city, I couldn't drive with the redline. So I have bought a 940....

i have put it away in a garage because of the "Umweltzone" in Germany. It has no kathalysator.
But now it is back and in May 2018 it will get the "h" Kennzeichen.

The new carb from a V440 I changed last year is compatible to the version without the swirl pot.

Hello, Unfortunately the old carb didn't work pleasable. So I decided to remove it. Thankfully I have found a third carb only with the big vent pipe. It should descend from a 440. I mount it and put a tube from the vent pipe to engine mounting. The redline is running so good as new! Best regards Mat...

great, my old carb runs after cleaning and sealing. Only the idle is a little shakey...

this means that the small vent pipe simply goes to the engine mounting
The big one only stays open?

About the pipes: the bigger pipe seems to be never in use. Is is rough and dirty. The small one is blank and obviously connected to a tube. Bye Matthias

My engine stumbles slightly when the second system opens (part load transition)
