The solenoid clicked when 12v was applied to it. Solved it now anyways, the second barrel was stuck! oiled the life out of it and now its back to running normal!

As above, for some reason my car has decided it's ideal idle is at 2000 rpm..

So the story so far...

Car needed a replacement clutch, so I changed the clutch
after I finished bolting everything back together, went for a start
Car wouldn't idle
Found the idle control solenoid connector had broken ...

Need as title says! Mine appears to be near rusted to death on the O/S
