Update: After owning & using the car for the past few years and spending quite a bit on the maintenance it is now sold! Will miss the car a lot, a joy to drive with lots of character! Will be watching the forum and Facebook to see what the new owner has in store for it

At the risk of sounding old, don't bother shedding the weight - they're not heavy cars and you'd sacrifice some of the comfort/refinement for pretty unnoticeable gains. Looks lovely though!

You've got a fair point Steve, trying to keep it as stock as possible, wouldn't dream of changing anything ...

Just an update as i haven't posted on here for a while! The volvo has undergone some major cleaning; exterior, interior and the engine bay to bring it to a decent condition. This, done by me, was a pretty lengthy task :lol: The carb has been tweaked, some idling ...
