Can someone please point me in the direction of the exhaust manifold to front downpipe ''springs & bolts'' set.

For the 1.7 B172 engine.

Do you still have these?

My Volvo has started to get a bit of a lean on to one side, at the rear the car sits lower on the right than on the left.
I can fit a finger or two between the arch and the tyre top on the left, there is no gap on the right.

Is this likely to be because the leaf spring has gone soft or could my ...

I have changed the spark plug leads just as a matter of course (i thought i'd listed them, my mistake!!)
But I soon changed them back to the originals after I noticed a fracture in one of the leads close to the spark plug insulation pocket.

Is there any specific way to test ...

Ok, just to list what i've replaced/done so far.

fitted:
new camshaft seal
new flywheel/crankshaft sensor - old got chewed up by flywheel after bolts came loose and it dropped
new distributor rotor
new distributor cap
new ignition module
new spark plugs
new mechanical fuel pump
new inline fuel ...

I've had a few conversations with Mac and Dai from classic swede in the past with some very sound advice given! But it seems the problem with my volvo is beyond my mechanical ability! I have a really nasty misfire and I realllllly cannot work out why!

Yeah mines definitely missing the sensor bit on the end.

Thanks Dai, the ignition coil and diff casing gasket turned up earlier. Is there any sign of the missing bank transfer? I didn't check with the bank yet.

Ok so todays new saga was me trying to get the car started after a carb refresh and new ignition module.

Ive put plug lights on the spark plugs and there is no spark getting to the plugs.
Ive checked the rotor and dizzy cap, all looks good. So went round to check all the connections and came ...

carb apart now, original floats weigh 10.9 grams rather than 6 - 6.3 grams... so massively wrong!

carb base plate seems to be warped by roughly .5mm in both directions as well. so i will take it into the garage in the morning to get it flattened, a big heavy ally block and wet and dry it is.

to be honest I had it off yesterday when I was checking to see if the camshaft seal was weeping, everything looked ok. Might as well buy another set for a couple of quid off the local motor factors and hope for the best
