hi guys and gals. its been a while since i´ve been on here. reason being i sold my 1.7 340. i´m now in deperate need of a fairly cheap 1.4 340 with a good mot and a bit of tax. if anyone can help let me now.

problem solved...lol. was rotor armed all corroeded... *sp* loose timing belt. had slipped a tooth. all h.t leads were full of water... and f***ed up. lol spent half hour wth it and sorted it... damn i'm good. he he. cheers for your help guys. if yours is 'siezing' check the timing belt see how tigh...

i have a h reg 1.7 gl 340. the problem is it wont start. as above. it will turn over fine but as soon as any throttle of r choke is given it sounds like it seizes for a split second i.e wont turn over... then it clears and gives an almighty bang... i do have a side exit exhaust... then it smells rea...

i'm looking for a new carb for my second 340... seems like first choke is knackered either new carb or recon kit. pm me.

what wheels fit volvo???? lol... i'd like to know mainly if vauxhall wheels do as i need wheels for drift practice and have had a few offes from mates of vauxhall wheels... they've said they'll fit but would rather ask people that have a clue... lol...

i have resently bought my first 340 (its a 1.7 gl h reg) and when about half throttle to full or round right hand bends the warning light ( circlke with ! mark in)comes on but then goes off when i either straighten up or come of the throttle have had a quick look around engine bay when running at p[...

have you got any pics of it mate????
when would you want it gone by????
what engine??? if its a 2 itre then i will be interested....but will eed to know a price ad what you done to it....but that will come in due course....

i am looking for a 340 1.7, 5 door (cheaper insurance) i need one by about the end of next month hopefully...lol... am willing to pay about 350 if its in ok nick, but body work doesnt matter too much as long as its got test and some tax.... this will be my first drift practice car....so it will get ...

all...lol...will be a daily commuter but i would like to get into drifting and therefore it would be my practice car as such...
any help would be great...
