Re: Escort mk2 quick rack
So either way you have to move lower arm one inch outside, or cut the rack 2".
travel of the rack should be ok, otherwise swap in a 300 would't be logical. Since nev does this, it should be workable. But still something to keep a eye on for sure.

Re: Escort mk2 quick rack
I' m quite sure dai is pretty much ready with the RHD quick rack. I emailed with him about the production of a LHD rack as well, but somehow they are way more expensive as the RHD.

Re: Escort mk2 quick rack
I've a LHD car, so.. All the fab work to get it fit, is no problem. Is the length of the rack ok? To avoid bumpsteer issues?
Or does the rack needs to be cut as well?

Wasted spark & tacho
Anyone lucky getting it to work?
I tried the diode set up (what actually worked on a boa v6) and the tach fix (tach adapter) aswell the relais solution. No luck at all.
The revv counter actually works connected to one negative coil side (half speed).

Re: going to the dark side
I've megasquirted mine, but you have a few options regards fuelling and ignition. You could stay on stock loom, fuelling and ignition (not the best option) just bolt on all hardware of your current engine. (360 flywheel, sump, oilpump, distributor/renix setup etc) You could run LH2.4. Keep engine as...

Re: Suspension lowering, angles and set-up
The lower arm got higher. Rebolting it back to the tie bar would put alot of stress to it because the tie bar did'nt move upwards. By flipping the lower arm, wil allow the tie bar to be mounted lower.

Re: Frits pro spec 360
Can't really say, but the cage doorbars stopped the door for sure. But driving home from England with a concussion wasn't the best idea. When I was about home, I didn't know anymore to drive on the left- or right side of the road lol The car didn't felt predictable, I decided to go for it anyway, so...
