Ours leaked when full or when we had the left side up on a kerb trying to stop the diff leak (probably 1/2 to 3/4 full at that point).

It was from right at the top where it "saddlebags" the propshaft. Wasn't around the filler entry as I could see that, it was higher up.

Still collecting but the latest estimate is just short of £3000 so worth all the effort.

I honestly thought we'd be doing well to get £1000.

Sorry Pete but we don't have it. We took both alternators with us "just in case".

Didn't see any of the Student Gumball but rumour has it (could be completely wrong and totally unjustified) that the arrival of 150 student gumballers into the Czech Republic just before us was contributory to our grief at the border.

Would love to know (when they get back) how much grief they got.

There was us, a 240 GLT estate and a saloon and a 940 or two and probably some 7s too.

We also got a big wave from the driver of a 340 somewhere in the middle of France.
