Re: VERY DEEP Steering Boss. OMP etc
Maybe my PM did not get through. I'd be very interested if shipping will be reasonable.

Re: Volvo 360 ecu
If you have one, please pm me! Well I'm currently running a D cam, mvp big bore throttle body, T5 injectors, higher fuel pressure and E85 as fuel. Every time I change somsething the engine starts to go lean. However my injectors even together with E85 should be big enough for 200hp. If the duty cycl...

Volvo 360 ecu
I´m looking for a Volvo 360 ecu. Need one so I can try to modify the fuel injection curve by changing some resistors.
If you´ve got a one and are willing tot let it got at a goof/fair price, please contact me!

Re: Leaded or unleaded?
The thread mentions retarding the ignition by earthing pins, would it/is it possible to advance the ignition with earthing pins?

Re: 340 tuning
Using a set of bikecarbs and a cam might get you up to 100hp. Which isn't worth the effort if you ask me. I'd +T it with a 13c/T25 or small T3 which will not cost you that much more if you are creative about which parts to use, but will help you gain a lot more. A 1.7/1.8/2.0 8v or 16v or turbo woul...

Re: Drift upgrades - help please!
I would purchase some 250lbs springs from Dai, some polybushings for the front end as well. I´d use some differential oil or some shockabsorber oil from a motorbike which will be better but more expensive. Problem with using other oils is that the shocks become so stiff that the lowering springs ava...

Re: Turbo Brick
The hobbs switch/map sensor was meant to control the water/meth injection not as some sort of prehistoric fuel injection setup to compensate for lack of fuel. Using MS to control your water injection kit really would be overdoing things. With what he is using atm that would be one of the things whic...

Re: Turbo Brick
Also think detonation is your biggest enemy. Especially with the limited options you have when using a renix unit. Maybe a low budget diy water/meth injection kit might be a good idea. Maybe use a intank pump from a 240/740 or an airpump but those can be expensive. Cold start injector or just a norm...

Re: R1 carb jetting
Aha, wasn´t aware of that. So you have not rejetted them?
Sounds great, if there that easy to setup, hmm
Nice mileage! Gutted 340 will probably weigh almost the same. Maybe just a bit more. C20XE however is known for it's efficiency, B172 not really

R1 carb jetting
I have purchased a 1.7 as a small quick & dirty side project. Will all be very low budget (mad camber, low, thick oil in shocks, gutted, short final ratio, welded diff etc). Will use the car for some drifting, spirited driving and maybe a track day if the race car is down. Wanted to fit some 40mm R1...

Re: Easy brake upgrade?
So people have used some Capri vented disks in the past together with the original V300 caliper. Don´t know how exactly since the disks are obviously thicker. There was some guy from Belgium a few years back who used V740 disks and calipers on his 360 turbo. Adam has done the Rx7 caliper with 280mm ...
