I believe it's something to do with the airflow at the front of the car?

SPOTTED: rare 345 GLS "2.0 5 Speed" for sale in Hungary
Pity about the condition, but this is in fact a very rare car: https://suchen.mobile.de/fahrzeuge/details.html?id=259102637 B19 engine in a "Mk2 phase 1" with the old style dash (never offered on the UK market) and with a 5 speed gearbox too (only as standard when they were rebadged "360" in the '83...

Re: Volvo 340 GL - 1983 from Portugal
Hi JFB, I don't think it's the green book you need to go through, the installation instructions are in the blue leaflets that go with the accessory kits. Try this post for details: http://www.volvo300mania.com/uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=7286 Installing them should be easy enough for a mechanic (I ...

Re: '85 360 GLS
Hi Steve,
only the early B19s will be different, I guess it's probably not relevant for the UK market as CH 710000- is 1983 model year onwards ...
Look forward to seeing how you get on!

Re: '85 360 GLS
Hi Steve, - Does anyone have VADIS and can confirm whether a carbed fuel tank is the same between a 1985 360 GLS fitted with the B200K and a 1988 360 GLE saloon fitted with the same engine. I'm guessing yes... the idea is to 'refurb' my spare tank and swap them over. I just checked the parts catalog...

Re: erm ok then
Well, he's being very honest about the condition of the car! The original bodykit is so rare, that I'm sure the lot will sell eventually. But probably not for 600 pounds

Re: Volvo 340 GL - 1983 from Portugal
Good find! That looks very much like the spot lamp Volvo sold as an original accessory for the 300-series. It may even be the same?

Re: '82 343 DLS: beyond the arctic circle
It's very lucky for me that you don't! It means you can't do a fact-check :-) @Mark: thanks :-) The first scenes (after the elk) were filmed close by, on the outskirts of Bonn, the rest about 20-30 miles away in the "Ahr valley" area, well-known in Germany for its red wine. Not quite my cup of tea, ...

Oh I hope that you can get a video link of the program when it airs, I'd love to see it. It went on air this week, but you need patience due to the advertising. And it's all in German ... Re: Wiring diagram for genuine Volvo spotlamps?
One switch for both spot lamps? In the above setup yes. I now have these fitted to my green GLT. There I have them wired to the full beam "flasher", so I no longer have a seperate switch. http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc152/trabitom99/Reisen/2016-09%20Ardennen/2016-09%20Ardennen%20059_zpsxrqaja...
