OK so I have a quote for install a seocnd hand compressor out of a wrecker car (pressure tested etc.) fully gassed and all, for 350 pounds with 3 months warranty.

Does this sound fair?

OK thanks, but my system has already been converted to R134A I just made the mistake of leaving it dry for too long and now the seals are all dry and the compressor, apparently (I didn't see it) leaks when they start to fill the system back up. I am getting the feeling that I should just get someone...

ok so I have checked google images and the switch that I jumpered is on top of the dryer The compressor didnt start up tho, it just clicked. sounds like a plan

where is this pressure switch? on wot dryer? I have jumpered a switch on top of what I think is the canister where the gas is. if ur looking from the front of the car it is on the bottom right. When I did this there was a clicking from the AC compressor, it did not start up tho

trouble getting into first gear when standing still

Guys, I am in aus and have just bought a 360GLT. I have noticed that sometimes the car is hard to get into first gear when the car is standing still, i.e when going to take off after a green light. My mechanic has adjusted the clutch which helped the problem a bit but it is still hard to put the car...

theres an opening in my bell housing. I can see the pressure plate from under the car. is this normal?
