Re: My other car is a.....
I've decided that I'm going to keep my 360 - because I just frickin love it so much
So - it's going to be my work car. The family can ride around in the monster truck. This means I no longer have to make family car compromises with my Volvo

Folks who want Konis keep an eye on Autoteile Hilt - they seem to get them in now and again. Beware, they don't take Paypal and insist on direct bank transfer which from the UK will cost £15-30. But the parts are cheap to begin with and totally transform the handling of a V300.

I concur - Rogered - sorry to hear of your bad luck. Strip it, clean the parts up as best you can, take good pictures on clean backgrounds and get on the bay and you'll probably make what the car was worth at least.

Re: Transaxle 'porsche'
That GTV set up looks tasty - even with the inboard brakes. But yeah - you'd need to make room for the bellhousing thingy - would probably work better with a 340 petrol tank rather than the 360 one.

Re: Transaxle 'porsche'
Sorry, didn't read the thread properly before posting. I agree 924 is a weak design - and doesn't surprise me that the drive train is weak, since al it had to deal with was an engine stolen out of a van... 944 Turbo on the other hand must be built to take some serious torque. Other option is a 928 -...

That's because they're yanks. They watch too much Hollywood, and think real life works that way:

Re: Transaxle 'porsche'
You need to build a hybrid torque tube and hybrid prop shaft to make this set up work I reckon. The torque tube could be fabbed up with some decent home welding skills, but the prop shaft will have to be custom machine shop unless you're the fabricator ninja.
