Re: Garage collapse

This sounds bad Jani! If I was within 1000 miles I'd come and dig it out for you! At least it's a tough old car, maybe the roof saved it from the full force of the snow? I'm out of work since I took redundancy. if V3M members have a whip round and pay for my air fare I'll come and help, I have nothi...

Re: The 340 Prop failure thread

Everything you guys are saying about the alignment and the clamps is true, but the actual design of the prop is at fault too. See the 3 gaps in the splined section of the prop? They allow that steel section of the prop to twist and deform slightly, perhaps even if the clamp is tight enough, but more...

Re: f7r\p backwards manifold

I don't think people are asking about the quality of the welds, I think they're asking where on the manifold they are, four of them on the inlet runners or one big one after the throttle body?

Re: F7P and all associated mounting trinkets.

It's some uprated clio cover plate, with the 1.7 centre plate. I don't know who made it but it's pretty heavy!

I could pallet the whole thing up and it'd be able to go by courier. I don't want to scrap it but it has to come out to make way for the next engine!

F7P and all associated mounting trinkets.

Anyone interested in an F7P and everything you need to wang it into a 340? I have one with bellhousing, mounts etc, sporty clutch, custom downpipe (made by my own fair hands). Would be supplied with the whole engine bay loom so you'd just lower it into the hole, connect the 3 plugs at the bulkhead, ...

Re: My 360's replacement

Well Ben and Matt, feel free to come round and clean my 940! The poor thing needs a good valet since I moved everything out of my old unit and got dust/rust/general muck everywhere. Thankfully no trim got damaged, because she's hard as nails. This escort is wicked cool in real life, probably down to...

Utterly perfect passenger area! Such a shame a nice shell died but I'd much rather see pics of a mangled car than a mangled Pettaw. She died saving you, looks like it was a biggie! Pleased you're OK bud.

Re: Pug Life: 2. 309 GLD

With the limited wiring involved and the number of identical fitment parts, it would be FAR easier to change the whole engine.
