Pettaw thanks for looking it will be a big help to us all. Are the bushes cone shaped in two different sizes? Also we will need one of the bushes that fits into the wishbone. The bushes are not exactly the same as superflex because they are made to my design and are also a lot cheaper. Also I can of...

340/360 poly bushes

After some of the discussion over the group buy the the torque rod bushes I thought I had best show everyone what I have already had made. I went out and changed the link rod bushes for orange one so they would show up better. http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y82/classicswede/340001.jpg While I was ...

I will check and make sure what models they will fit, I think they are all the same but not sure as I not a 340 expert. I know PV, amazon, P1800 140 and 240's best. I will make any bush as long as enough people want them or someone will meet the tooling costs. I have already made the anti roll bar l...

340's and women do mix. My Missus is the 340 driver, I been trying to get her to drive a real car like an amazon or P1800 but see won't have it. I have grown to like the 3 and not been able to stop myself from modding it! I am now a 3 series fan somthing I thought would never happen!! I'll try and t...

I am going to be fitting some 15 by 6 wide wheels with 195/50/15 tyres.
Wheels are the same as 4 stud vauxhall. you will need an ET 40 (ofset) wheel.
Hope this helps

Yes we do seem to be talking about different things. I know the bush you are on about. I did find mine nasty to remove I ended up burning it out, then cleaning the houseing with sand paper! The poly replacment was not to bad to fit about 3 atempts on the first side with a big G clamp and then first ...

Try pulling on the bar with your hand if it moves it will need replacing.
If you go to VOLVO you must buy the complete arm!!!!

Yes the anti roll bar link rod bushes are very hard to remove. I cut them with a knife wich only took seconds. I have cheated with the poly ones and made them 2 peice(8per car set). The price is £15 + postage, but to anyone through this forum I will post for FREE ! ! ! :D

Ali I think postage will be aprox £10 for the pair of springs. They lower 40mm from NEW standard ride hight, they are stiffer than stock, I don't know the rateing as I got them second hand. On the subject of the rear end I fitted SPAX shocks made to my design ( I am a spax aproved fitting centre) Th...

Oh on the subject of the ARB I've fitted poly bushes to mine, they have stiffened things up a bit & for £15 you cant complain. they look good aswell with a coice of yellow orange blue or black. I am also looking at making some hefty link rods as they look a bit under engineered.

group buy poly bushes

Just had my wheel bearings collapse the other day, so I decided to change the rear axle. on removing the axle I noticed the top torque are bush had fallen apart(see picture). Also the replacment axle had the same problem. So I had a look at my other scrap cars to find both of them suffering from the...

James do you want the springs for a 360 or 340? The ones I have for sale will be best suited to a 340, the ones I have fitted to mine now would be much better, they are 190lbs single coil. When I fitted these is had to fit locking plates to hold the spring in, very simple to make. I think I can get ...
