Thats true redline.. were not actually getting anything from it, and hopefully it can help someone else at the same time.

It's up at only 200 quid - I'd go for a look myself, but I already have two cars!

hmm that is a hell of a lot of stuff to get in! Maybe I don't think its too great cos of the 6x9s I have mounted in the parcel shelf that stick down about 8 inches! I remember when we had 340s before it always seemed huge, but it doesn't so much now - maybe I'll change my mind when I have to carry a...

I think the bootspace isn't that great, my Dads 405 (roughly the same size car) has much more space for suitcases etc than my 360 for example, and thats a saloon. The 360 boot is very shallow, but does go back a long way. For bulky loads however, the hatch is always going to win. My old Favorit esta...

no no no 6x4 grilles, in the rear pillars.. they're most definitely a volvo option as they have volvo written on them! :D there are a set of 6x9s in my parcel shelf (hasn't collapsed yet), which have a huge depth.. the boot is pretty useless for a car of this size! But gladly I don't need the space ...

Yeah you don't see many 360 saloons about now, I'm not suprised you have two in your garden.. is there anything that you dont have in there   I think Volvo were a bit of a cheek as regards to the factory fitted stereos - 2 speakers?! C'mon this is the late 80's we're talking about. Surely...

What sort of kit did you get with the 60th Anniversary edition? Anything special that you wouldnt've got from a standard 360GLT at that time?

Yeah thats what I thought, a warped carb base I would imagine give symptoms over a period of time. But it is a weak spot with the 1.7.

I also immediately thought accelerator cable linkage/sticking somewhere, but Dave said the cable is pulling fine. But it does sound like something is sticking somewhere, but I'm sure theres someone else here who knows more than me about this! Have you tried revving the car by pulling the throttle ca...

I haven't seen many 300s in scrapyards around here either really (one or two) over the last 6 months. I went to one on Tuesday as I was in the area, asked the owner and he said he doesn't get many in - had actually owned one himself and said they were great, and a future classic! Great news that you...

That is a bloody cheek.. I'm suprised you've left it on the car still, if it we're me it would be coming off before I left the MOT centre you went to!
