Re: Rear fog lights not working
All the rest of the lights are working fine, but the fog ones...I don`t know what i must do to get "signal" on the wires, that`s why i asked what are the conditions - ignition on, low beam on. Of course, the switch is turned on, and it seems that is a relay connected to the switch wires (the relay i...

Rear fog lights not working
Hi everyone.
Can you tell me how are connected the wires for rear fog lights? In order to work it is neccesary to have the ignition on, the low beam on or something? The previous owner did a crappy job at the rear electric system, and 3 wires are hanging in the air.
Thanks.

Re: Firing order for injectors
Ok, I admit that i`m stupid  . The engine runs sweetly now, but how? I`ve removed the timing belt and all i did was to put no 1 cylinder (behind the timing gears) at it`s lowest position, as it was up high. The rest is history, all cylinders are running, and i`m happy! And frozen! One more ...

Re: Firing order for injectors
Thanks Fuse and thank all of you guys for your help. sm2 i`m back with a new problem: no.4 cylinder(near the clutch) is not working. i`ve already replaced few sparkplugs, ht lead, injector, the same result. The head was mounted ok, with torque key, in stages. The engine start very easy, it runs with...

Re: driving to germany
Hi matt!
Personally i would take with me: usual tools, electrical tape, ignition module, a good spare tire, 1 meter of hose for fuel, a dizzy cap, 1 liter of engine oil, a relay, fuses, a thermostat.
I hope that`s enough!

Re: mechanical fuel pump for 340 1.4
Hi Misha! As far as i know, it is possible to use a fuel pump from a Dacia 1300 auto - and i think they were exported in Serbia. It should look like this: http://img822.imageshack.us/img822/299/13078269852153820321pom.jpg Uploaded with ImageShack.us ps: take the upper body off and check the valves i...

Re: Oil pressure and temp gauge
This setup works just fine!
It was a poor ground which caused me this problem, not the sender itself.
Thank you.

Re: Oil pressure and temp gauge
Yes, the sender comes from a 360 B19 with Smiths dash clocks(made in UK). Both the sender and the clock are VDO.
So i have to find another sender, right?

Re: Oil pressure and temp gauge
Hi all. I have a B200 engine, a temp gauge from a Volvo 240 and a water temp sender from a B19 engine (standard one which is connected to the dash clock). I found out that above the oil filter is a plug with the same thread as my sender. Okay, so i`ve tried to conect all of them like so: the upside ...

Re: Firing order for injectors
Thank you James, you are too kind but i found out what was wrong. ME! When i have dismantled the engine apart, i though i`ve lost the locking pin from the big pulley, so i made one from a screw (with my grinder). But, the locking pin is in fact one piece with the crank distribution wheel (from one s...

Re: Firing order for injectors
It`s me...again. I took some pictures to see what i have in mind: convert a pulley from B 19- there are two sepparate parts in order to fit on a B200 crank. http://img821.imageshack.us/img821/7153/48812850.jpg Uploaded with ImageShack.us http://img408.imageshack.us/img408/5199/52137208.jpg Uploaded ...

Re: Firing order for injectors
Thanks Pettaw, your videos on youtube are excellent. Tomorrow i`ll try to see if i can swap my pulley with the one which is mounted on my spare engine, B19 from 1984. If, not...i don`t know. By the way, how it`s possible to fail sitting? Last time when the engine ran was almost 11 month ago, and fro...

Re: Firing order for injectors
The beast is alive! Cold start injector and thermal time switch weren`t connected, and after having them jacked, the engine started with no effort. I planned a session of 20 min at 2000 rpm, but i didn`t have the opportunity- the pulley attached to the front end of the crankshaft wobbles like hell. ...
