Just found out the car I got as a replacement for the above shown 1.4 has only done 12k miles in the last nine years - awesome news. However, it appears to have been left under a dripping tap or in a permanent cloud of acid rain.... its that fresh Hull air.

Hello Justin, I looked through the list of forum members beginning with B and there doesn't seem to be a BEEFY 340 so maybe its an ebay ID or some other ID rather than an someone on this forum?? Has he disappeared without paying or something - I jest ;-) ??

Its a wicked repair and I'll have a set - mind you I don't have any old ones to refurb right now. I have another guilty confession which is that I managed to get a new set off someone who was a Vovlov dealer about 7-8 years ago and they're secreted away somewhere safe!!

Man, the rust goes all round - only about a quarter of it has fallen off.... just so happens that I collected a few repair panels for wheel arches a few years ago so I'm thinking its do-able with a sympathetic / creative welding type of person. I don't know who passed it to be honest because it came...
