Re: MCHUDD IS LOUVRED AGAIN.

Why do you have have to wait so long? I just turn up. The garage doesn't actually take bookings (but you do have to get there 1/2 hour before they open to get in first thing without leaving the car. Maybe this is rare even here these days. It did take me several days to get the transit done last wee...

Re: Early B19A 360 water pump question

A couple of years ago I changed the pump on my green (1983 fixed fan) GLS without even even knowing that there was any potential difference. I bought the pump from someone at the Volvo Show and fitted it with no problem. I've just bought a pump off ebay for my other GLS (Gold one with viscous fan). ...

Haynes

Some photos from the Haynes Volvo Owners Club/V3M meet on Sunday Many thanks to James and the VOC for organising the event and arranging for us to use the track, which highlighted some of the shortcomings of 32 year old soggy stock suspension on my gold GLS  Rachel wondered if the tyres would m...

Re: Crittall's Corner - own up, own up....

I like the comments on that news site, the way people speculate and then are shot down in flames!

Hope the driver was OK but looks like the car will be no more :(

Re: JAK 74W

Just a quick post to let anyone who remembers this car/thread know that it's not been totally abondoned. As is often the case....too many Volvos (and now transits) and not enough time. I also have a growing collection of old transit tippers, 4 to be truthfull, plus the main one I drive every day, on...

Re: Gold 360 GLS XKW

Just to confuse everyone I'll do a quick update for this car (nearly two years late!) as well as VFW. I did actually get the towbar fitted and we made to Norfolk on our annual pilgrimage (2013)! For the benefit of anyone wanting to know about fitting towbars on 360s I'll put the rest of the photos u...

Re: G89 VFW (Project) Time for some TLC

Only 10 months late but here are some photos from last years caravan trip to Norfolk and Suffolk. As mentioned already, VFW was pressed into service as the GLS failed to gain an M.O.T. in time. (For some reason the forum is not displaying photos properly so click on for full size). Once again our fa...

Re: Me and my '76 343 DL

Thank you for posting here! I have also seen some photos of this car elsewhere. Always liked that green, I only remember seeing one that colour, in the late 1970's. I drove a '77 car for 10 years, metallic blue DL, it was the family car from that time which I was given when I was at college in 1991,...

Re: Official V3M 300 Spotted Thread.

I think it's a saloon but it is difficult to be sure. The roof is higher over the gutter rail towards the back on a saloon, this looks like it is. Also look at bumper to wheel arch gap at the back.
