I've now got to have a go at rodding the fuel tank outlet pipe. I've changed both fuel filters and the fuel pump and still getting fuel starvation symptoms, worst case I may have to drop the fuel tank. The amount of rust in the filters and pump was ridiculous!

Nice work Chris, if it helps anyone in future in my 360 saloon I'm using the boot seal off a 1988 Volvo 760 turbo saloon I broke for parts. It is a it taller than original so it needs a bit more effort to shut the boot but atleast I know it seals!

Finally got my 360 back on the road! Now it is off the road again as the fuel pump has died. I was incredibly lucky that it started to cut in and out as I was on my way home and about three streets from home so I managed to limp home where it died just as I got on the driveway! MOT booked for Feb 3rd.

I've bought a genuine cambelt, tensioner and front oil seals from Volvo and will be fitting them soon.

Booked for a machine polish and wax on Sunday 31st, so all being well there will be another 360 on the road that has been off the road since 2012!

I'd be looking to import one from Europe if I were you, yes you will pay more and it will probably need rust repairs but at least it will be left hand drive.

Welcome to the forum, did you attach photos? I can't see them.

If you want to firm it up then look in to some new dampers and 1" lowering springs and blocks.

Have you checked for vacuum leaks on the engine? Spray wd40 around it and see what happens.

I would cure the air leak first then see what it does, amazing how much an air leak can affect running.
