B14.0E till B14.2S have the soft material in the cylinder head so they need at least RON 96, 98 unleaded will work fine, 95 with lead additive wil work fine but don't fill them up with unleaded 95.

b14.3 and up will do fine on unleaded 95

How do I find this out?

I have just bought a 1980 Volvo 345. Does anyone know whether it is fine just to put unleaded in it, or do I need some sort of additive?

Well spotted trabitom99 - the previous owner replaced and misplaced the original radio after taking the pictures. And well spotted that my earlier posting had said I wanted a mk2 (which I still do...)! Yeah I think it is a good find too. I'm shocked at how old and small it feels. It goes well though...
